Nest

Today we make nest for gosling. We plan the nest. We colour the plan of the nest. We went out side to pick the leaves that was fall down on the floor.we finish we came back class room to start do the nest.We use cartons,  tissues and paper towels .I put the leaves on the bottom and the tissues and paper towels on top of the cartons. The tissues was around the cartons and it was on top the leaves. The paper towels was on top of the tissues and it was under the cartons. At last we put the eggs in the cartons.I feel happy because it was fun.

This week is conservation week. We are learning how to save the birds and take care the birds in NZ.

The house sparrow bird is a introduced in NZ. They are often seen around humans. The house sparrow is found every in NZ but not in high mountains. They eat nectar from flowers,  fruit,  and grains. Predators are: stoats and cats.
