Greenhouse

Last week on Monday we made greenhouse.We need A4 paper ,plastic bag,wet paper towel and cotton balls. Fist we used a white paper to trace it out. When we finished we gave Miss Lister to see and then she will cut it out and we draw a dome or a triangle roof.Miss Lister will cut it out.At last we write your name and greenhouse and we can decorated the greenhouse. We use felt pen to decorate the greenhouse.I draw plants,carrot and some flower. We used a plastic bag to put wet paper and cotton balls. We put the pinto beans in to the plastic bag.At last you get you get your plastic bag stuck in your green A4 paper,we use blue tac to stuck in greenhouse.

Migration and Hibernation

I learnt migration and hibernation. I think it's interesting how the bear sleeps.

Add notes and coins

I was learning how to add notes and coins.It was tricky because it need to add all of them. The dollars sign need to go in fount of the dollar because it show it is money.

Contractions

I was learning how to do the contraction.It was easy because it was two words to make it. The apostrophe means that there is two words and shows there are letters missing. If you are missing two letters you still use one apostrophe.

Find and use speech mark

I learn how to find new speech mark and use correct speech marks. It was easy because just need to find the story how was speaking.

Speed and agility

Yesterday we had youth town at eleven o'clock. We went to the field and we play games. First we have warm up.It had some cones, hurdles an d ladder. We do the tip pip toes to did the ladder and we do the jump at the hurdles. Last we had to like a crab walk at the agility poles.Next we had a game call cat and mouse. First we have to chose who do the cat and mouse.The mouse have to run straight and the cat have to run the side way to catch mouse. I felt happy because it was fun to play the cat and mouse.

I learning how to the rounding to ten. It is a easy way to do all of them because it was close each other like twelve was close to ten.

Nest

Today we make nest for gosling. We plan the nest. We colour the plan of the nest. We went out side to pick the leaves that was fall down on the floor.we finish we came back class room to start do the nest.We use cartons,  tissues and paper towels .I put the leaves on the bottom and the tissues and paper towels on top of the cartons. The tissues was around the cartons and it was on top the leaves. The paper towels was on top of the tissues and it was under the cartons. At last we put the eggs in the cartons.I feel happy because it was fun.

This week is conservation week. We are learning how to save the birds and take care the birds in NZ.

The house sparrow bird is a introduced in NZ. They are often seen around humans. The house sparrow is found every in NZ but not in high mountains. They eat nectar from flowers,  fruit,  and grains. Predators are: stoats and cats.

I found it easy to put synonyms and antonyms together because synonyms are words that mean the same and antonyms are opposite.
